Welcome!  I am Jose R. Alaniz, Jr., owner and operator of Third Day Coffee Seguin. We are a Christian, veteran-owned company that was born as a ministry and grew into a business.   My wife Connie and I are both native born Texans and live in Seguin where we roast our coffee. I served in the US Navy and together we served in the Texas State Guard. Today we serve the King of Kings, Christ Jesus.

After traveling to multiple countries and learning that not all coffee is created equally, we embarked on a journey to roast a superior coffee right here in Texas; a journey that allows us to support coffee farmers and their families in the mountains of Honduras.

Our mission is simple:

• Share the Gospel of Christ.

• Support our community in a Christ-like fashion.

• Support the impoverished farmers that we source our coffee from. Via Direct trade, our coffee comes from Cerro Bueno and Los Mangos, Honduras. Direct trade ensures the farmer receives a fair wage for his labors.

• Support Legacy Farms Missions via Ashley Williams, the farm owner. Ashley and his family are acting as the hands and feet of Jesus on their farm. They built a church and finance a pastor for weekly service. They have also built a medical clinic and dental clinic to serve the community.

• Finally, we roast and supply the Best Coffee This Side of Heaven to the market.

In 2016 I surrendered my life to Christ and serve Him in all that I do. We strive daily to Glorify His name. In return Christ has blessed our family with a great ministry and great coffee.
